A personal project I worked on to design a set of prototype espresso cups with some simple black line drawn female characters. The result worked out quite well so I hope to peruse this idea further one day... perhaps on more items?

Something about black line work lends itself really well to being applied to fine porcelain. The subject matter of the girls & women focusing on lines & pattern in their hair looks really good printed on the white cups. Makes me want a coffee right now!
Each of the characters on the espresso cups is inspired by a different coffee loving city from left to right Roma, Paris, New York & Paris. I took the project a little further and created some coffee packaging too with blends based on each city.
