Originally part of a limited edition set of prints on the theme of British pastimes commissioned by fashion brand Ted Baker. Then redeveloped adding additional details and extending the length for use in the changing rooms & as an animated screen in the Heathrow Airport store.
‘British Summer Time’ illustrates the Brits' obsession with weather & complaining about it! If it’s too hot, complain. If it’s too rainy, complain! Originally part of a limited edition set of prints on the theme of British pastimes commissioned by fashion brand Ted Baker in conjunction with the Association of Illustrators. Entitled 'A Baker's Dozen' 13 designers were each commissioned to illustrate a different British 'pastime' including summer fetes, car boot sales, full English breakfast & the one I got was 'Moaning'!
Ted Baker later recommissioned the illustration with request to extending the original size twice the length & adding the full figure & additional London details for use in it’s fitting rooms & as an animated screen in the Heathrow Airport store & online.
